Hi, I'm Lee. I've been playing guitar for over 20 years and teaching formally and informally for maybe half that time.
Whilst guitar is my primary instrument, I can teach ukelele, bass and banjo too.
My playing has enabled me to see a fair bit of the world and provided me with opportunities from a gigging band in London to running a house band in Thailand.
I also write the music and sound effects for a series of children's audio stories.
When deciding to make a go of teaching guitar as a "proper" job, I actually obtained my Grade 8 through the Music Yard, and after covering a few lessons at the facility,
I was fortunate enough to be given a full roster of wonderful students and I haven't looked back.
And one last point; I didn't start playing until I was 17 or 18, when I got a lend of a friend's guitar. There was nothing like The Music Yard when I was a kid,
so make sure you take full advantage of the place and Rock On!
